A masonry lintel is a beam made of bricks with longitudinal reinforcement, and put into the horizontal joints.
A big selection of BAUT® joints allows to form any known lintel of bricks. Lintels with the use of reinforcement and hooks are made up to 2 m. If the width of the openings is more than 2 m., there is a danger of bending or even lintel damage. For this purpose the suspended brackets are used. Their number and location above the openings is calculated under each individual case.
